PRESTON Energo a.s. is a part of the financial group PRESTON Capital a.s. We focus on biogas stations, where we see great potential. Biogas can be used for both electricity and heat production, and can also be used as fuel in transport.
Our strategy is to upgrade existing biogas stations to modern biomethane stations in the Central European region, especially in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
In response to the current energy situation, the European Comission has created the REPowerEU plan, where biomethane is an important component. A significant part of sustainable energy production in the EU could be built on existing biogas with upgrading to biomethane.
